Product Information – Corten Steel Sheet

When used outdoors the rust patina forms on Corten steel through cycles of wet and dry, this can take up to 12 months to start developing.

We also offer laser cutting and fabrication of this product.

COR-TEN is the trademark of U.S. Steel. Corten is a weathering Steel. Natural Corten steel sheet has a bright appearance. The rust patina only develops when used outdoors, (unless artificially applied to speed up the process), through cycles of wet & dry, the colour starting as a shade of orange, a fully developed patina is dark brown and the rust is tight to the surface though this can take many years.
