Product Information
Natural Brass sheet Grade CZ 108 is very decorative an has an excellent appearance. This sheet comes with a peel-able protective plastic film on the face side. Our brass sheet is the highest quality on the market, it is produced in European mills. We supply brass sheets to industry, shop fitters, colleges, schools, craft workers, jewellery makers.Â
After the protective film has been removed the brass sheet will acquire a natural patina over time.

Grade CZ108 (Cross references UNS – C27200, ISO – CuZn37, EN – CW508L) also known as common brass and has a composition of 67% copper and 37% zinc. This is a good general purpose cold forming brass for fabrication, welding and soldering.
Brass went out of mainstream fashion maybe 50 years ago, but it is making a great comeback in the 2020’s. even though it is at its highest price ever due to high copper demand.
Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, the proportion of zinc in the mix alters the properties of the metal, more zinc increases the strength while less zinc makes the brass more ductile and easier to work. The ratio of copper and zinc also affects the colour of brass, less zinc produces a redder brass while more zinc produces a yellower brass.
